Baby refused heart transplant!

6 month old baby needs a heart transplant in order to live. The heart is available but Doctor refuses to do the heart transplant unless the baby is vaccinated against Covid-19.

I think this is horrible. It's against all of humanity. We are not Barbarians and this is not the Middle Ages. The parents have a right to speak for the baby. Parents do have rights.

In order to receive a transplant, it is standard practice to be vaccinated because in order to maintain a transplanted organ, you need to be on immunosuppressants for the remainder of your life. That would put an already vulnerable baby in an even more vulnerable position. So yes, the baby should be vaccinated.

I've been doing some reading about the Covid 19 vaccinations. According to what I've read the vaccine actually helps the immune system. The parents are saying that it would decrease immunity. A Doctor (can't recall his name off hand) gave out false information on social media and it went viral. The FDA approved the vaccine for infants age 6 months and up.

If I was in that position, I'd do whatever I could to save the infant's life. As it stands now, the infant will die without the transplant. I say, give the vaccine, do the transplant and see how it goes. At least the infant would have a 50/50 chance of living.

I wonder if the parents continue to refuse the vaccine for the infant and the infant dies would the parents be charged with manslaughter or murder.

I've removed some very sick comments and quotes. Very close to a Forum Mute. :@

Anyway as for the topic If it was Me making that choice I'd opt for the jab. Gives the baby a better chance.

I'd also put in a complaint against the doctor for refusing any help. They are there to help and have a code of duty to help.

I'm not sure why they won't get the baby jabbed though as the news story does not say or even say if the parents are jabbed.

I do wish Baby August well and a speedy recovery if all this crap gets sorted out.

The Doctor is in the wrong though mandating She get the jab. It's not his call. Even if they get the baby jabbed it takes several weeks for the immunity to build up and that maybe too late for the poor little girl.

Sad doctor who needs to get better manners.
