Yeah, the "pain" you endure while getting tattooed is so minimal to the amount of time that your tattoo will be there. A couple hours of being sore for something that won't ever come off. Mind over matter.

Distractions usually help. Talk to your artist/other artists working, listen to music, watch a movie, go to sleep, etc. Community Manager for Jagex

When I got all my tattoes I couldn't look at the needles for some reason. I'm not scared of them but I think it was the thoughts of what they are about to do lol. I never once watched the artist at work. Always chatted to him and his assistent and listened to the music they were playing.

I'm still waiting for both my arms to heal fully. They are still having issues with spots popping up here and there and a few bad scares kicking off.

I still fancy 2 more and 1 of my old 1's done up. I have the designs ready and waiting. Hopefully around Christmas I may treat myself to getting them. Comprehensive Account Security

I like watching my artist tattoo me but get tired of it cause it makes me realize how many hours are left before I can go home and sleep lol. It's also frustrating to see him wreck my skin with those needles only to see him wipe it and see that barely any ink actually went into my skin lol. Then he goes over the same spot 5 more times.

Nice Tuffty! I've love to see the designs! :D

Edit: I forgot to mention that I had cancelled my tattoo appointment and moved it to this coming Wednesday instead. :p Community Manager for Jagex

Thats the 1 I want on the back of my neck. Something about it makes me like it. Just can't put my finger on what it is.


Thats the new 1 I want on my left arm to cover up a 35 year old tattoo thats just outdated now. The Skull will just fit over the old tattoo thats why I picked it. I want the dragon and all the skulls but none of that Orange stuff. That looks crap lol.


The above abomination I got a few years back. Was my own design I edited and added bits I wanted but the artist if you could call him that was for a better word shit. It's got no detail, shadows or anything. It's like a picture from a colouring book.


Thats what it was supposed to look like. Still no idea why he did what he did but for £120 5 hours I'm ashamed to show his work off. I've never been back to him since. Comprehensive Account Security

i have to watch so getting back done or places i cant see seems to be worse for me

and i have phobia of needles (but tattoos im fine with)
