I've been binge watching a very good TV series called
Stranger Things
over the last week. I'm into the end of the 3rd season.

Its classed as drama/fantasy, and it might sound like a kids TV programme, but its more than that, and is very highly rated.

I watched one of my favourite Samurai films last night,

I usually prefer the old classics (Sebe Sanurai etc.) but there are one or two more modern ones I love, including this one and Zatoichi.

After that I watched a couple of episodes of the excellent new Sex Pistols biopic:

As good as you'd expect from Danny Boyle, it's a look at the Pistols story from Steve Jones' point of view.

I'm halfway into season 4 of
Stranger Things
and its getting real dark.

Eleven/Jane is still my favourite character and i'm pissed off she lost her powers and I understand why she lost them, but I think she might get them back.

Season 4 is quite hard to follow.

over the weekend and started on
The Midwich Cuckoos
(2022)

This was always one of my favourite books by john Wyndham and the new TV series is really, really good.
A bit of a slow burner but it's well directed, really creepy and has a great cast including Keeley Hawes and Max Beasley.

I watched a couple of episodes of season 2 of
The Flight Attendant.

It's funny, intriguing and (for the first episode at least) a bit confusing.
Kaley Cuoco is brilliant in it.

Weird, wonderful intelligent scifi starring JK Simmons and Sissy Spacek.

I started watching the first season of
The Flight Attendant
. I've watched the first 2 episodes and I like it.

I'm waiting for the final episode of
The Baby
to come out today. Its a one season British comedy/horror, but its pretty mild horror and its quite good.

And I have to wait until 1 July to watch the last 2 episodes of season 4 of
Stranger Things
