More Hogwarts shenanigans last night:
Harry Potter and The Order of The Phoenix

Not one of my favourite instalments but a good film. Three more to go!

The Potterfest continues, last night it was
The Half-Blood Prince
.
Probably the worst of the eight films (IMO), it's pretty slow... but it doers establish the idea of Horcruxes.

It's about time I watched that again, one of the best things on TV by far in the last few years, it's brilliant.

Tonight it's the final Potter movie for me,
Deathly Hallows part II

I'm going to try to fit some Star Wars in over the next few days too.. :)

Potter films done and dusted (and greatly enjoyed).

There's football on the agenda for tonight but might watch the original
Star Wars
trilogy (episodes 4,5 and 6) later this week.

I've also started a great Netflix drama:
Pieces of Her

Toni Collette is (as always) superb.

I was in the mood for some comedy last night so I watched
Caroline Aherne: Queen of Comedy
on BBC iPlayer.
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt30624649
So sad that she died, she was a brilliant writer and hilarious comedian.

After that I watched the latest Ricky Gervais standup on Netflix:
Armageddon

I liked his Animals sketch but Ricky Gervais can be a bit of a twat sometimes.

Memories of Matsuko. I used to hate this film because I thought it confused love with infatuation but I think I understand it a bit better after watching it again

Matsuko's partners rejected her love the same way she rejected Kumi's love. Kumi was Matsuko's god. Therefore home is where the heart is.
The age of chivalry is gone; that of sophisters, economists, and calculators has succeeded, and the glory of Europe is extinguished forever.
