I'm not as big a reader as I used to be, been about a year since I read an actual novel. Got a pretty low tolerance for mediocrity (and spending my money on it) so I pretty much only pick up books nowdays that I know are good for some reason or other.
Anywho, finally remembered to pick up The City of Mirrors by Justn Cronin. Been to long since I read The Passage and The Twelve though, so I'm gonna have to reread them first.

Speaking of novels, I'm surprised nobody here has mentioned the Runescape Books written by T.S Church yet. (Asides from myself in my previous post
)
Figured it would be interesting to discuss that on this thread here, since a lot of the current lore in RS3 ties into the books as well as some characters that came originally from it.
can you confirm or deny whether the runescape books are in fact canon?
Yes, you would be correct. Several of the characters from T.S Church's novels are tied into some of the quest storylines from Runescape 3, however they are not present in Old School Runescape.
Whilst on the topic of T.S Church, I find that his style is similar to that of J.R.R Tolkien, so you'll love the novels if you're both a fan of his works as well as the lore of Runescape!

No; T.S. Church and the RuneScape novels are good, better than they have any right to be, but they're not at all similar to Tolkien, either in style or in content.
Patrolling Lore FC almost makes you wish for a Great Revision.
Finished the dire earth duology by Jason M Hough and the alchemy wars by Ian Tregillis, back from surgery. Dire earth is great and alchemy wars was good. Also finished the first two alfred kropp books.

Just got done reading "Curse of the High IQ" by Aaron Clarey a while back. Good read if you can stand opinionated pieces.
Might order "Worthless" by him soon as well.
"Revenge...is like a rolling stone, which, when a man hath forced up a hill, will return upon him with a greater violence, and break those bones whose sinews gave it motion."- Jeremy Taylor
It is a novel and its movie was (animation) was released in 2004
It is a very sad story
But I think I am facing the similar situation as the protagonist in this story
It make me cry.....
Many things are omitted in the movie
The ultimate ending of the novel book is very sad
