Although not a Scouser, I resided in Liverpool for three years a long, long time ago and didn't come to any harm.

And i don't know why i was worried about tonights game because we ripped Hoffenheim apart going forward although there was still some shaky defensive mistakes again but i guess we can't be perfect all the time

Good question.
But i'd go with taking a loss in the league because we could grab the points back at some point, losing in the cup would mean it's game over

Can never be sure. Remember how much 3 points would have been worth in 2013-14? Besides, with European football commitments (Liverpool traveling to Spartak Moscow) the following week, decisions may have to be made regarding the resting of key players for either domestic fixture.
