I recently came back to the Sims 2; EA had the game available for free download a couple of weeks ago (sadly that's ended if you were interested in downloading it). I had never played the PC version, only the console so it's quite different to my previous experience with it.

Sims 2: Ultimate Collection, I made sure to get it, quite glad I did.
200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

Well I pre-ordered Sims 4 last night! I actually almost have the whole sims collection.

1) All PS2/Wii games, my younger sisters play them to lol.
2) All Sims 1 Expansion packs
3) All Sims 2 Expansion packs
4) Missing 4 of Sims 3, but I unistalled The Sims 3 due to crashes and getting annoyed
5) Pre-ordered Sims 4 :)
6) Even have the sim citys lol

Nice :D I have all the sims 1 expansions and sims 2 for console too.

Sims 2 is one of my most played games, I love it although I sometimes wonder what it is with sims that have the fortune aspiration and their constant desire for expensive objects lol, kinda reminds me of when I was younger, wanting to be rich (Childhood dreams eh?)
200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

can't forget the old classic one of setting fire to sim's houses, made even easier with the sims 3 supernatural, as one thing witches can do is (spoilers ahead) set fire to any space and watch it spread to items/sims, you can even do it at other people's houses in the game lol (Sims 2: Apartment life lets you do the same thing :D ) 200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

You sound as addicted as I am to the Sims :P

I have every disk of it so far starting from the very first sims game :P

Just recently got Sims 4, although I'm more partial to playing my sims 3 still at the moment due to things like NO TODDLER STAGE :( :( and no pools, I mean, how am I going to kill my sims now? (attempted to simulate drowning in the pool with a bathtub it doesn't work) ;)

I'm glad to see you got the Sims 3 Supernatural pack, it's probably one of my favourites and I am missing it very dearly when I play Sims 4. :( will be great when the expansions start getting thrown at us :P

I hope to see toddlers and pools back, Sims 4 seems pretty good (I even have it) but at the moment I'm more drawn to the sims 2/sims 3 (maybe due to having more to do on those due to expansions), on Sims 2 I have this romance aspiration sim who wants to fall in love with many sims, so fun trying not to get caught :D

hehe. I'm with you on the expansions being thrown at us being great when it happens.

Right now on The Sims 3 i'm in the process of making a one-sim household, then i'm going to move them on an empty lot, build a house, and then send one of my other families over to set the place on fire with magic (crazy fun way to get my sim's magic level up without burning the pre made families which I don't want burning incase I decide to play them.

So yeah i'm being pretty "naughty" on the sims (falling in love with many people, setting things on fire) not that i'd do that in real life.

When i'm playing to do well i manage to do a lot lol, start a family, get a job, make friends or start a business :D

Also got Sims 3: Generation and Sims 3: Pets now, both good for families, generations for items/interactions/parties, pets for the pets.
200m Dunge, Rc, Mage and invention accomplished, + 120 Constitution/Slayer/Range/Summoning/Woodcutting/Mining/Defence/Strength and 110m fishing, got comp/MQC and 200m Fishing/Woodcutting/Mining as well as 120 herb/Farming/Cooking most 120s just Agility, Theiving, Hunter and Prayer left

I completely understand you being more drawn to sims 2 and 3 at the moment. I don't think I could go back to playing sims 2 now personally, it would just look far too out-dated and I think I would get bored very quickly. However, that being said, I understand that having just started playing them (by the sounds of it) that you're still drawn to 2 also :P

The aspirations can be quite fun and add another nice little factor to the game, making your sim strive for something. Even if it is one of the more ridiculous ones :P

Trying to set things on fire! lol! I spent ages using all the little spells you got for the witches, cursing people and what not. It was a lot of fun.

Although I generally don't play the pre-made ones much, I like having the option and haven't killed mine off either :D

Pet's is another one of those similar to Supernatural, both packs I'm very drawn to and it just adds more layers to the game, which I love. Helllllooo... horses, couldn't believe they gave us horses too! :P They're adorable!

I like the added fact that there is money cheats and what not, simply because we all have that moment where we grow bored with playing seriously and you just go whacky and start building something extravagant and you have that option there :P lately I have found myself using less of the money cheats though which adds the difficulty factor to it, which I find I quite enjoy.

How are you finding building in sims 4? with the pre-made rooms? I assume you've played it *at least a little* I enjoy the premade rooms for when I don't feel like building anything and just want to get to playing, I probably use them more then I build my own at this point.

Building in Sims 4 is excellent, yeah the aspirations are quite excellent in my opinion, was one of the best additions in Sims 2.
