Just popped up on my FB page and it looks really interesting. Produces a lot more energy then normal turbines.
It just looks an eyesore. It's huge.
It might be worth putting up 50-100 of these in a place no one can see maybe in the Atlantic as they float and run a cable or 2 back to land. We have plenty of ocean where they can't be seen. So why not try them and see what happens. Worse thing is the seas rough and they crash and sink.
Better to see them miles away then see the wind turdbines all over our countryside spoiling our views.
Because this 1 has smaller 15m blades it should turn in light winds though.
I know we have some huge 1's not too far from where I live and they are stopped most of the time due to light winds.
We also have some I can see about 15 miles away at sea that are sinking. Yes sinking due to bad erecting of them in very soft sand. With these that float they could be better.
