What can we look forward to?

* Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

Starring Jude Law (!!!), live action 'coming of age' story. Shooting has wrapped, now in post-production. Currently scheduled for release sometime in 2024 .

* Andor

Season 2 seems to have had its release pushed back to 2025 .

* The Acolyte

Mystery thriller series set in the final days of the High Republic, as the Dark Side rises... around a century before A New Hope. Will feature Carrie-Anne Moss. In production. Expected release: sometime in 2024 .

* The Bad Batch

It's been confirmed that the third and final season will kick off with a 3-episode premiere on February 21st 2024 .

* 'Mandalorian & Grogu' movie directed by Jon Favreau

A closeout to the 'Mandoverse' series (The Mandalorian, The Book of Boba Fett, Ahsoka) is going into production in 2024, for a possible 2026 release (?). Possibly a replacement for season 4 of 'The Mandalorian' (??).

* Tales of the Jedi

A second season is in development. Expected to release in 2024 .

* Star Wars Visions

A third season is apparently in development. No release date yet.

* More Ahsoka

Season 2 is confirmed to be in development.

* Star Wars: New Jedi Order

Movie directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, set 15 years after Rise of Skywalker, and featuring Daisy Ridley as Rey taking on two Jedi apprentices. Planned release: May 22nd 2026

* More Lando!

A new series just called 'Lando' will see Donald "Childish Gambino" Glover back as the loveable rogue who lost the Millennium Falcon to Han Solo. Confirmed by Kathleen Kennedy at SWCE 2023 as still planned.

* Untitled movie directed by James Mangold

Set 25,000 years before Episode IV at the 'dawn of the Jedi', and about the discovery of the Force.

* An undisclosed project with Taika Waititi helming...

According to Kathleen Kennedy at SWCE 2023, Waititi is still writing the script, and is heavily engaged with other projects, so no timeframe yet.

* An undisclosed project with Rian Johnson helming...

According to Kathleen Kennedy at SWCE 2023, still intended but not actively in development at this time.

* Rogue Squadron

Originally planned as a live-action full-length movie to be directed by Patty Jenkins, and intended to be a fighter jock flick. Indefinitely postponed (but not completely cancelled) . According to Kathleen Kennedy at SWCE 2023, Disney are also considering turning this into a streaming series instead.

* A Droid Story

Animated movie with a new protagonist, but featuring appearances by R2-D2 and C-3PO. Status uncertain.

Out of all those I'm most stoked for more Mandalorian, best thing I've watched in years.

If at least one of those films doesn't involve Jon Favreau, they're really missing a trick.

Got to admit that I now look forward to watching the week's new episode of the Mandalorian on Friday mornings....

(Particularly loved the ending of today's episode. Oh sweet, sweet irony...)

Haven't seen this week's yet, I usually save it up for the evening, but can't wait to watch it. I love where it's going.

Seriously, you could bolt three episodes of The Mandalorian together and it'd wipe the floor with any of the recent movies.

I don't think anyone did - most of this came out of nowhere at their investor livestream this week - they've managed to keep LOTS of it under wraps until now.
