I admittedly don't drink alcohol all too much, combination of personal choice and being on meds; however, I have had the occasional sip of beer and other alcoholic drinks. I've tried an IPA and a lager, neither of which I particularly enjoyed. The best way to describe how it tasted to me...drink some Moonlight Mead ingame. That's exactly how I describe it.

Now, of the alcoholic beverages I've tried and actually liked...all I really liked were some guava wine and hard lemonade. That's pretty much it.

Now, I have an online friend who says stouts and the like taste a lot better; the way he described it, he said they taste kinda like coffee and chocolate. While I do love chocolate, the "coffee" description kinda puts me off because, well...I hate coffee. ^^;

Trying some Arrogant Bastard Ale atm- good stuff.

Not for the faint of heart though- ~7% Alcohol by volume.

I've updated the list with the beers discussed since the last update. Now that it's already warming up near me, I find myself itching for my favorite spring/summer beers to get released. Right now it seems only Leinenkugal's Summer Shandy is available!

This Left Hand Brewing Milk Stout Nitro is delicious. Super smooth, nice creamy head (hehehe), a nice, small touch of hop bitterness to not make it way too sweet (though it's still very sweet, but not a nasty sweet), just enough of a hint of mocha to where it's not overpowering, with a nice roasty character in the milky finish. I can't even tell there's a drop of alcohol in this even though it's 6% ABV. Soo good. 9/10
