and as i stated before, once they do get identified its usually something not interesting.

I believe I've experienced two sightings. Unfortunately, no one else was around to collaborate the sightings.

Both of these sightings were long before cell phones were thought to be a possibility and home computers were thought to be an impossibility. The computer you are using now took up entire room much larger than your bedroom.

1st sighting: I was traveling along an Interstate Highway that had just opened up, so traffic was very sparse. I was about to drive up a steep hill when I looked over to my right and saw a very large grey shiny craft (now known as a Flying Saucer) come up from behind the hill. It levitated for a few seconds and then sped off in the blink of an eye.

2nd sighting: Behind my house is the city cemetery. From my back yard I can see the space ships go up from Kennedy Space Center. I was looking for a ship to go up when I saw a grey orb about the size of a soft ball between two trees where I was looking for the launch. It stayed there for a few seconds then sped off. I know what spirit orbs look like and this wasn't a spirit orb.

That's my contribution and both sightings are real. You do what you may with that information.

@vonSageworth - I mentioned this a while back or years back on a different thread: I believe it was New Year's Eve, I was around 10 years old (In the 1970s I believe it was) at a family friends place when me and 2 other friends noticed groups of lights out her lounge window one evening (there house was over 100 steps up a step hill, so had a fantastic view). So we went and got our parents and showed them. Not sure who the owner of the home rang, they told her it was squid boats which the owner didn't believe as they'd never seen anything like this before. Anyway around 15 years ago, give or take I was watching an American documentary on UFOs and my experience mentioned in this paragraph was on it :D How cool is that.

vonSageworth didn't exactly lie when he said that there weren't any witnesses. He didn't know I was there.

I had walked over to his house, rang the doorbell, but he didn't answer, very unusual. Since he spends a lot of time sitting on the patio in the backyard, I figured that's where he must be. I was walking towards him and saw him staring very intently. I looked in that direction and saw the orb just as it sped off. I didn't want to ruin his moment, so I kept silent for a minute. After he relaxed, I said, "Hi" and I pulled up a chair to watch the launch.

I thought I had mentioned, some time later, about me being there and saw the orb. Apparently, I hadn't. Guess it's time to tell him about it.

BTW, his first sighting was long before we met. The second one was more recently.
