At work I still have a few sites that require Internet Explorer to work. Someone has a hard deadline now, but they've already been preparing for it for well over 6 months now.

Good luck moving over to other things that took it's place like Edge. Don't like that either.
When Edge was first released it was quite horrid, but the current version is based on the chromium engine and it works quite well. They shot themselves in the foot by releasing an awful first version of their new browser, nobody wants to give it another try.

Only good thing about IE (and Edge) is to use it to download either Chrome or Firefox browser.
Pretty much this haha...
And IE (with older versions more so) is an absolute nightmare for developers too lol
When something didn't quite work on IE but did on ALL other browsers... our instant go to was always "Why do people still use IE?!?" and then complain that we have to fix it
I've used Firefox for years. Then they did an update and now I can't log into my bank, anymore. I get a message that says, "I see you are using a new device. Type in your phone number and we will call you with a one time code." I have to go through this rigamarole each and every time I try to log in. I've gone to Google Chrome and had everything in my Firefox bookmarks transferred over. Now, I go to Chrome, click on "Imported from Firefox", click on my bank's bookmark and log in without any problems.
A game site I frequent now has the same problem. When I log in on Firefox I have to give them my email address and wait for a code. Sometimes I get one and sometimes I don't. There has been times I didn't get the code until hours later. I do the same as with my bank and have no problem logging in.
Firefox acts like it's a VPN (I think I'm calling that right). It's like once I log out of the sites I've used for years, now don't recognize me. "Who are
you
? We'll have to check you out, Stranger."
There are a couple other websites I have problems with and have to use Chrome. All the other sites I have no problem with. I still use Firefox more than Chrome or Edge.
