Dam I actually forget time splitters 2 and james bond 007: nightfire was the absolute best shooter for gamecube multi in my opinion. The flying throw hat kills are legendary on that snow map lol Clan Defy -

I remember thinking the game cube could never be broken. I think if you dropped an xbox, a ps2 and a game cube the game cube would definitely come out best. The design was made fun of by a lot of people and the small discs were laughed at by many but the console design was durable as heck. I remember countless times the game cube was knocked over because we were feverishly mashing buttons on super smash and would knock it over accidentally. My xbox I looked after with all the tender love and care in the world. Same with my ps2 and they both suffered the red ring of doom many others suffered.

Game cube you may not be my favourite console of all time but you were definitely the most memorable.

Sorry that was a tad off topic but I had an iced coffee and my game cubey senses were tingling.

Wind Waker is among my favorite Zelda games of all time (it's gone so far as to directly influence my drawing style), but the Triforce Hunt and the money limit made the game needlessly frustrating. Since I prefer the Wii U port for fixing all these issues, I guess it doesn't count.

Instead, I'm going with Pokemon Colosseum. I'm choosing this over XD Gale of Darkness (even though it's a bit more refined) merely because Colosseum was the game that was responsible for reinvigorating my interest in Pokemon after I had been away from it since Pokemon Yellow. It would be nice if there was another console Pokemon game like it. Collecting gym badges tends to get old after a while.

Luigi's Mansion is also an honorable mention for its nostalgia factor. I remember I spent my entire piggy bank as a kid to get a Gamecube when it first launched, so it has a special place in my heart for being one of the first big things my parents let me buy using my own money. I remember all the kids at school were like "Whoah, you have a Gamecube? That's awesome!" Memories.
