Been having Applewood cheese on my sandwiches recently, which is great.

Recently I also tried Saint Agur Blue Creme, which is basically a spreadable Blue Cheese. Personally I really like Blue Cheese.


Here's a simple yet delicious way I have used spreadable cheese:

Mix spreadable cheese, butter (I like olive oil butter) and some garlic sauce (I like Heinz) together in a bowl. If you want then you could add in some other Italian herbs or Pesto for extra flavour. Then proceed to spread the mixture onto some slices of Brioche Bread. Once done place the slices into the oven and grill until toasted. Finally then proceed to serve the deliciousness. Brassica Prime:

Here's a weird combo that doesn't sound like it would work... but really does:
Toasted Cheese and Marmite.

I can't remember if it's Starbucks or Costa Coffee, but one of them used to do Cheese and Marmite paninis and I used to get one on my way to work every morning.

Reeeeeallly nice.

One other great combination is Cheddar Cheese and Worcestershire Sauce. For the truly authentic experience use Lea & Perrins.

Around 50 years ago I had a friend who sometimes made us cheese and marmite on toast for lunch. She would even add extra salt. I would have just a little marmite on mine and no extra salt.
edit to add: I sometimes add worcestershire sauce to my cheese on toast. I also add it to cheese sauce when we have cauliflower cheese or macaroni cheese. It has to be Lea and Perrins.
