There's a flat above my place, it has a deck and a triangle roof, the triangle roof is part of my place it is beside the upstairs deck. Where the gap is, is on the corner of the upstairs deck and triangle roof. I'm not sure which direction the leak is coming from. The hole appeared because of the leak. If there's a decent size hole at the other end where the water leaks in then that would be worrying. Mice don't need much of a gap. So far no rodents.
The other night I heard a cat having a fight on the above deck. I wonder if it was a opossum it was fighting as I only heard one cat screaming or screeching. It was a racket, it stopped for a while then started up again.

Ummmm...is it mating season? Read up on the mating of cats and you'll see what I mean.

I feel it was more of a scrap, a lot of crashing, banging and screeching. Maybe it was and she just wasn't in the mood
I live in New Zealand, It's spring at the moment, so yeah maybe at the end of the mating season as it's quite mild the weather which can prolong the mating season.
