I remember the very first time I heard of ASMR and saw a video made specifically as ASMR content. It's a video about folding towels...
. Very relaxing voice though. I found it by reading an article on CNN that mentioned this video and it introduced the concept in an interesting way, naturally questioning why hundreds of thousands (now millions) of people would watch a video about folding towels.

I understood why immediately. While I still enjoy watching ASMR content, it doesn't elicit as strong a response as it used to. But every now and then I find a particular trigger that does it for me for awhile. It's nice.

The only ASMR video where I did not feel tingles was Egoraptors ASMR prank with one of his friends. Soft whisper then S C R E A M !. Soft scratching then SQREEEE on chalkboard. Nope, not wearing my headphones on that one!
I always wondered if someone might do that. I'm fortunate to say I've never run across one of those videos. Pretty cheap laugh if you ask me.
