Didn't really know what it was about going into it, but man it was quite dark haha

Me too! I got half way though and was trying to figure out the storyline, Though I could of written most of the storyline myself as they say, it was done really well. Have you watched Safe with Michael C HALL? Similar, Netflix original too, very good 1 series too
I wish I liked Quests as much as I love AFKing

Last night I watched
Sentinelle
, starring Olga Kurylenko.
It was truly awful.

It tried desperately hard to be "John Wick" but failed miserably in every way.
Awful acting and totally unconvincing fight scenes, plus a predictable plot that seemed to be partly stolen from the aforementioned John Wick.

Doctor Sleep
(2019) was last night's entertainment... and it does entertain.

When I first heard they were doing a Shining sequel, I had my doubts, particularly as decades had passed... but it's brilliant.

Brilliant story, excellent cast, and just enough nostalgia without overdoing it.

:O You need to see it! One of the best if not THE best horror films ever made.
I'm jealous that you haven't seen it, it means you get to watch it for the first time.

My viewing last night was another brilliant film,
The Dark Knight
.
My favourite of the three "Bale as Batman" trilogy, mainly due to that stunning performance by the late Heath Ledger as The Joker.

Yea but i ended my big horror binge a few years back as i used to watch nothing but those types of movies. Gave me too many nightmares and whatnot.

Last night i started rewatching Fire Force S1 and im nearly done with it now and im going to try to get caught up with S2.

I started watching a new series on SKY (it's an HBO production so may be available "across the pond&quot ;)
Your Honor
.

Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) as a judge with a moral dilemma... I won't say any more as I don't want to spoil it. I'm two episodes in and love it so far.

I decided to finally watch The Predator, the two thousand and eight version. I really wish I had not. It's the worst film in the entire series and possibly one of the worst films I have ever watched.

If you like Predator films. Stay clear, it's atrociously bad.

Totally agree, The Predator was absolutely awful, a massive disappontment.

I watched a 50s classic last night:
Forbidden Planet
.

It's incredible to think this was made in 1956... some of the effects (as you'd expect)look dated but they're very much "of the time" - painted backdrops, etc. but it still manages to look stunning and must have been amazing (and quite scary!) to see back then.

Excellent story and a great cast including a really young Leslie Nielsen.
