The last 2 episodes in series 2 of Philip Pullman's His Dark Materials . According to an article I found in the Radio Times the finale based on The Amber Spyglass should be filmed during the latter half of 2021 so probably won't be aired until 2022. That's a long time to wait. :(

I treated myself to a copy of the new
Alfred Hitchcock Classic Collection
and it arrived yesterday so I started with
Psycho
.
60 years old and still a really powerful film... and surprisingly risque for its time.

I think I'll watch "The Birds" tonight.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

The Birds really creeped me out when I saw it. I watched it on the TV with my Dad many years ago, too long ago for me to remember exactly when. I was still living at home at the time so I was probably in my late teens.

Watching Hannibal currently. Am quite enjoying the theme of a genius psychiatrist being the go-to person for the FBI. Sure enough, he's the exact person they're hunting.
Greetings. I'm Joe. I love games and game development.

I wasn't keen on this when I first started watching a couple of years back but the more I watched, the more I thought Mads Mikkelsen was the perfect Hannibal.

I watched the second of my my mini Hitchcock marathon:
The Birds
.
It's literally decades since I last saw it and I'd forgotten just what an effective horror film it is.

Hitchcock made some odd choices in making the film, but they all work so well - there's no music at all, during the (many) bird attacks there's no screaming and shouting, just the bird cries and flapping of wings... and they all make the film very very creepy.
If you've never seen it you should, it's a genuine classic.

I watched an odd film last night " After.Life " (no, not the Ricky g\Gervais thing)

Liam Neeson is a mortician who claims he can talk to dead people, and Christina Ricci is a recently deceased "patient". Hard to describe what goes on without giving any spoilers, but maybe everything is not as it seems...

Watching this as I type, not seeing how this will go...

All watched, still had to read some reviews to get the film 'straight' in my head lol.
Remember Caz. Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.

A film 'Self/Less'

Uncomplicated plot, zero annoying special effects.

I enjoyed it. Set now-ish (?) a secretive genius has set up a medical facility for the elderly or terminally ill filthy rich to have their consciousness transferred to a new adult body which has been cloned. Or has it .......
