Decided to take the offer of free Amazon Prime so had a good look around at their movies.

So lastnight I watched
Angel Has Fallen
with Gerard Butler and Morgan Freeman.

I have to say it was a quality fast action movie thats worth watching.

So what you waiting for lol. :P

.....It's a sci-fi drama, not Seinfeld In Space.

I'd pay good money to watch that :P

No spoilers for ya ^_^ !

I decided to give Cobra Kai a go last night.... and loved it!
Just the right amount of 80s nostalgia and a really interesting story line.

The biggest surprise for me was how good an actor William Zabka (the guy playing Johnny) is, very impressed. His character in the film was a bit one dimensional, but here he's excellent.

Looking forward to watching more tonight, I think I've found my latest favourite TV series.

Is he the one who does the QuikBooks commercial?

No, QuikBooks guy was the Cobra Kai instructor/Sensai in the film.

The lead guy in the new TV version was the young villain "Johnny" in the movie - on the left in the picture above.

I started watching "The Umbrella Academy" on Netflix. It is starting off a bit slow. Prior to that, I finished the series" Lucipher" on Netflix which I would strongly recommend. :)

I loved The Umbrella Academy, stick with it Theos, it's well worth it.

More Cobra Kai for me last night, I'm well and truly hooked :P
Watched 5 episodes in a row.

I love the flashbacks to the film, it's a nice nostalgic touch and not overdone.

I'm getting a bit bored with my own posts now but.... more Cobra Kai!

I'll be done watching it soon, promise.

I intend to check out Diane Morgan's new show soon - " Mandy ".
Big fan of hers so I expect to be entertained.

I loved this show. How are you liking it so far?

Loved every minute of it and finished it last night. Superb finale and the little cliffhanger at the end was a nice touch!

After that I discovered that Netflix has every episode of Monty Python :O
Watched a few of them, it's still funny even though you've seen every sketch dozens of times.
Last night's featured "Hells Grannies" and The Parrot Sketch.

I love Lucifer and I'm rewatching the first 3 seasons. I can't watch the others because they're not on Amazon Prime and we don't have Netflix.
Yesterday I watched both parts of Earthsea. I read the book many years ago and I don't remember it very well so I don't know if this version is close to the original story but I enjoyed it.
I also watched another episode of Dark Matter

Edit to add: Oops, I hit enter by mistake. I want to add we've got the first 2 series of Monty Python on DVD and 2 of the films, "The Life of Brian" and "The Holy Grail". I wanted to show my sons the type of programmes I grew up watching. One of them then requested the complete set for his Christmas present :)
