Squid Game

last night and it's...ok.
People seem to be raving about this but it's just so-so for me so far.
Nice and quirky though and hopefully it'll get even weirder.

Old Grey Whistle

test special that I recorded a couple of weeks ago, absolutely brilliant stuff. Loads of old clips from the show, loads of new talent and some great live appearances. I'm not really a Gary Numan fan but he was superb.

More Marvel malarkey with

Ant Man

I love the comedy in this one, and there's some really inventive (and often hilarious) use of the "shrunk to the size of an ant" idea.
Look out for Thomas The Tank Engine. Yes, really.

Afterwards I watched more Squid Game and I'm failing to see what all the fuss is about.
It has its moments for sure but it's starting to drag a bit.
Oh and... in episode 7, the worst actors in the history of television arrive.

I watched the new Ryan Reynolds/Jodie Comer film last night:

A bit disappointing =/

It's about a guy who discovers he isn't real, he's just an NPC in a game and there's loads of little jokes for gamers, but it falls a bit flat. They should have let Reynolds go full-on Deadpool and make the humour a bit more adult, but as it is, it's all pretty childish.

On the upside there's loads of action and the vfx are excellent.
