I honestly avoided watching this show for YEARS because for some reason I thought I wouldn't like it... maybe because someone I used to know who I didn't like was a huge fan, but this year I got into it and oh my god, it's sincerely one of the funniest things I've ever seen in my life,

That's exactly how I felt about Parks & recreation. I was worried it didn't live up to the hype, but loved it.

I started watching a film last night that gets some really good reviews and is supposed to be a classic:
The Ninth Configuration.

All-star cast, directed by William Peter Blatty... it looks promising.

I managed half an hour. Utter, pretentious garbage.
I don't mind an arty, quirky film but this was just awful. It sounded like the cast made the script up as they went along, there was no story.

TLDR: Hated it.

Lastnight I wanted something different and spotted on Netflix
Enter the The Warriors Gate

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt4652532/

What a nice change in movies. Was very enjoyable and well worth watching. I loved the costumes and the sets they used. So much colour.

Reminded me a lot of the Jackie Chan movie called
The Forbidden Kingdom
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0865556/

If you liked that you will like the other. Both have very similar stories and both well made and directed.

Pig, I enjoyed.
The boy behind the door <- I never use to get vocal; but, omg I can't help, just Aaaggghhhhh. I think it's good film making, a must watch, but you may find yourself getting frustrated and yelling at the screen and not understanding why he's not listening to you...
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!

I quite fancy the sound of "Pig" as long as Cage isn't too over the top as he sometimes is :P

I watched
Storage 24
(2012), a fairly low budget sci-fi set in a storage facility in London. (Battersea to be precise).
A military plane crashes nearby and something that was being transported gets free.

A decent story and moves along at a good pace (it's only 87 minutes) and for me it scores bonus points by using practical fx instead of CGI.

I might give The White Lotus a go tonight, I've just been reading some really good reviews.
