I did watch The Cabin in the Woods for the first time too. It was better than expected, but I had low to no expectations going in.

That's one of my favourites, such an original spin on the "teens go to cabin, all die horribly" theme.

I started my
Game of Thrones
marathon last night, plus I recently found that every episode of
Hill Street Blues
is available to stream on All4 :D Fantastic old series.

As old as it is and as clunky as the shark looks these days,
Jaws
is still a great film, I've lost count of how many times I've seen it.

If you have the dvd or bluray, it's also got the best "making of" feature I've ever watched... from memory I think it's called "The shark is still working",

Watched a really good new thriller on Netflix last night:
Run
.

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8633478/

It may "borrow" its plot from a couple of other films, but it's a really tense, interesting story and two great actors playing the lead roles ( Sarah Paulson, Kiera Allen)

I've started watching a medical series called
Code Black
. I'm enjoying it so far although some of the situations do seem a bit far fetched. I just suspend disbelief and enjoy the story. :)

Europa League football for me last night, and even though it wasn't a great game, my team (United) managed a win.

Followed that with some more vintage Hill Street Blues.
Hard to believe it's a 40 year old show, it doesn't feel dated at all.
