I played it little today! Sadly you must use your touchscreen to do actions!
But I found in the web and applied a patch for it and now the D-pad controls and more buttons work as older Zelda games did!

That was a nice use of the microphone! I think they did a similar thing with Mario Kart where you had to blow up some baloons! Community Manager for Jagex

^ I think Nintendo just wants to make the game unplayable for emulators or smartphones!
I play on my 2DS with a R4 card and it plays fine!

I don't blame 'em, lol, especially with how many DS and Wii games were pirated lol

I remember playing Pokemon Black like 6 months before it was released in NA?

Kinda makes me wonder, there's a couple shrines in BOTW that require gyro controls, how's that done on an emulator? (or on a Wii U while using the pro controller) Anyone know? Community Manager for Jagex

I believe people makes own patches to add stuffs to the original game rom to bypass things to let you continue the game otherwise you can't proceed at a certain point of the game!
Like the Zelda game I was playing recently, I didn't know about it before but the game also needed the microphone to proceed the game or you're at a dead-end!

Again the microphone was needed to blow away the dust on a map piece!
Took me some minutes to figure it out when I used the touchpen and it didn't work!
