Crazy to think that all those were banned back in the day
I remember as a very young kid being annoyed when they played a censored version of "Leader of The Pack" on the radio... they did a special "radio friendly" version without the motorcycle crash in the middle.

I know they did a bit of rock-ish stuff but I never thought of The Beatles as a rock band.
They had such a wide range of styles over the years that it was hard to pigeonhole them.

I don't know about you guys but I really like girl rock bands, they can really sing
The best girl rock group I've heard of so far would definitely have to be Bikini Kill. I did some research about the band because not too many people have heard of them and I discovered the lead singer was a feminist trying to put her music out there in a male-dominated world.
