Testing using animals is not a China-exclusive thing, it just so happens the OP brought up a story coming from China. I wonder if the story came from other country other than China, if the thread author will also post it in this board. Pigs also use less materials in their construction and have future uses upon death.

Human hair is used surprisingly a lot. I wouldn't be surprised if many people have used something made of it/because of it in their life.
