It's great. A very solid base to build the rest of the game around. I can't wait for the inevitable G-Rank in like a year or so.

The Wirebug and terrain traversal is incredibly fun. Exploring is areas is more rewarding than ever.

Yeah I agree, the maps have never been so fun to explore, I love the addition of the wirebugs and palamutes.

Whats your choice of weapon? I usually start with Greatsword then switch to Insect glaive because its wild haha. I think I'll work on all the weapons eventually.

I used to play a lot of Great Sword prior to the addition of Hunting Horn, now I mostly use Hunting Horn.

I do play other weapons but I tend to stick to Hunting Horn during the beginning of a new MonHan game life-cycle.

I'm currently trying to flesh out my first build:

Weapon:
Rampage Agitato IV. Rampage skills it has are Sharpness I, Non-elemental Boost, and Healing Melody II.

Armour:
Channeler's Hair-tie S.
Channeler's Robe S.
Sinister Gauntlets S.
Anjanath Coil S.
Goss Harag Greaves S.

Talisman:
Fatal Tempest. Which has max Recover Up and Horn Maestro Decorations slotted. I am trying to get a better one that has more slots for Decorations.
