A sorry (almost, may as well be) end to the season from United with a pitiful display against bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield.

What should have been a walkover for The Reds was an embarrassing display.

The transfer window is now open and hopefully some shrewd investments will be made... but I'm not sure that will even help.

As much as I hate to say it, perhaps the decision to give Ole the job full time was premature.
I know it was what the fans (myself included) wanted but something has gone badly wrong.
Who's the cat that won't cop out when there's danger all about?

One of the things lacking is a strong captain, and United haven't had one of those since Keano. Was always under the impression that Vidic was pretty decent as a captain no?

Awful, awful end to the season from a United supporter's point of view.

At least we have the transfer season to look forward to... if anyone can actually be lured to United at the moment :P

Congratulations to City who were pretty much untouchable this year... and to Liverpool for giving them a challenge.
