Yes I understand that - but if a lot of news type discussions are happening I believe a news thread would be beneficial. To keep it out of the chat thread...

It doesn't really bother me, but I understand where you are coming from Dong. We can always talk around it, but I don't think it would really be fair to say what people can and can't post in a chat lounge so long as it is following the rules.

I think what you are looking for is light-hearted chat, while others may want more deep, thought-provoking conversations. Personally, I feel that both can be had here without it causing any trouble.

But anyways, back to the "off topic" subject (see what I did there :P ), what should I have for breakfast tomorrow morning?

Yeah, chat lounges have always been for everything. There's no need to change them now.

When I first created the Rants chat lounge it was just for a place to congregate and discuss whatever came to mind.

Although they are no longer that active, I still enjoy visiting them from time to time.

My diet consists of 5 cups of coffe and 3 shots of whiskey by 9 am. After that it's 6 shots of coffee and 2 shots of wiskey by 1:00 pm. If I'm still conscious by then I usually order a pizza.
