oh that brings back fond school memories of my six years of German language study in a very small school where I was the only student in my level the last three years.

The teacher wasn't sure what to do with me, and she got in trouble with the principal if she had me help her teach the lower levels. I didn't much like having to help them, anyway, so she took to sending me off to the library with various books (in German) from her personal stash. oh, the memories...Brecht, Kafka, Rilke, Goethe, Nietzsche, Wittgenstein. In college, I then signed up for an easy A in German I, only to find it was canceled the week before classes began and the only language classes that still had seats open were in
