We have only really had Black Friday over here for a couple of years and it has been an unedifying spectacle, if news reports are to be believed.

Yeah, there seems to be some pretty wild stories and things on the news every year.

Maybe I'll go out but not really early in the morning. I guess there's a chance that any good stuff will be gone if I go in the afternoon though, lol.

Tbh, I can't think of a single thing I want/need that would make me go to a shop Sale of any description, never mind the mayhem that seems to epitomise Black Friday.

If I needed something vital (as in, a kidney dialysis machine or the like) I might consider sleeping on the pavement in the rain in a queue and then risk being trampled to death when the doors open.

But apart from such an extreme requirement, I'll opt for staying at home with a nice cup o' tea and watch The News where people are enduring privation, endangerment to life, verbal abuse and direct physical assault. Laughing quietly.
