I'm good thanks, although that should probably not be left up to me to decide, just woke up (23:00) I think my sleep pattern is broken again :-P Bob says:

You haven't had a telly for 2 years? OMG!!

I liked the haircut Jennifer Whatsherface had, but didn't get one cuz it would have been a bit young-looking for me (mutton dressed as lamb, ya know).

But them Housewives! I don't know any housewives who have flawless skin, hair, makeup, fingernails, blah*eyblah. No way had they ever ripped off a thumbnail changing sheets, or got their hands all scratched and sore pruning the roses, or been wearing jogging pants whilst scrubbing the kitchen floor after the dog's puked on it.

My all time fave is Downton Abbey (I think) although I'm currently watching The Crimson Field, which I recorded. I'm a bit of a sucker for period dramas.

You need to come to the school my kids go to, the parents are just dressed up beautifully. In the whole school and its only a small primary school, I have only seen 3 or 4 over weight people, this is men and women. I believe this is because itd a well to do area, it's in the top 3 riches area in my city. And I'm a slob compared to all of them :( Most say hi and lots do chat with me and only a few will completely snob me. People like me shouldn't be in this area and there's government department that want me out...

Vile people are unkind to other people on account of the way they look. They might be pretty on the outside but that sort of person is very ugly inside.

Why should you not be in that area? It's a free country, surely!! Do Government departments have the power to tell a person where they may and may not live? That sounds a bit Big Brother :(

You made it? Is that the sort of stuff you put on clothing? Mister Weazle has a long coat that is waxed but it's going a bit in the elbow creases and water creeps in. He thinks it makes him look like an old-time cowboy (you know, those ones with the little cape-bit over the shoulders).

Actually, he's quite short and I told him it made him just look like a garden gnome.

I know what he means :P I think the same when I wear my long one + one of my hats lol.

Made it in so far as I mixed the stuff together. 1lb bees wax + 8 fl oz of boiled linseed oil + 8 fl oz of pure turps.

I've previously used Barbour wax, but thought I'd see if there was a homemade mixture on the net. Prefer this I've made as it is much softer and as such easier to rub into the jacket without having to warm it up. To finish I give it a going over with a heat gun then I'll probably do it again to make sure. I did one sleeve and one front side last night poured a cup of water over and about 95% ran off so hopefully the second going over will cover the odd dot.

Can't beat waxing your jacket on an evening.

I have only seen or felt a few fit into the description of vile, maybe thats a bit tough, as they are most probably extremely nice to the majority. Over all I think they are really nice people, I just don't fit in there, my language, the way I think and dress ( I don't dress the way I would like to, but the way I can afford to) is just outside there class, I know this dies** sound right, but I understand it. Overal I would say the majority of the people there are good people.

This us an interesting topic, 'class', where you stand in society. I can tell a few, what I call disturbingly, not sure if that's the right word, it nakes you think how people are towards others and there treatment of others, adult to adult and adult to child.

People can be very sad individuals in the way they treat people, children through class, where they are in society.

I'm on my phone and it aint easy to chat, text, write. So sorry its very wobbly written.

Actually, Wilf, the thought of pottering about in the evening undertaking such homely chores as waxing one's jacket is comfortably appealing. Heh! - my foot-stomping Disco days have long since fled.

I'll have to tell His Weazelness your recipe. He likes doing stuff like that (when he has the time). It gives him the opportunity to disappear into his shed for hours on end. It's his first waxed item, he always used to just wear regular, waterproofed outdoor-type clothing, so has never had to do this before.

I recall when I was a biker we wore Belstaff clothing and used dubbin to re-treat it. No idea if that's still around these days (dubbin, that is) but someone told me recently that a Belstaff jacket these days would set you back over £500. Jaw dropped. £500+ for a scu*zy bike jacket - hahaha !

Dubbin is still around, but tbh most young people will think it is something to do with music, lol.

I looked em up £500 seems to be the low end lol.

My two are Barbours, but I got them £5 each from a charity shop.

If he's gonna be doing the heat gun/hair dryer to melt it in for a better finish make sure he keeps the doors open :P

I try to judge people on how I find them, but sometimes you just know they are either scum or stuck up
