Yep it's the egg. I hate snotty eggs.

Also it's way too crispy around the edges. It looks like it was cooked by someone whos not cooked an egg before.

It's funny, because when you describe what it is, it sounds quite nasty, but black pudding is quite delicious.

If you're a fan of black pudding, I can really recommend you try the Spanish take on it - Morcilla.

It's made with blood, rice and is spiced well with paprika and cloves. It will blow your mind if you like standard black pudding.
