Heh! You must have been talking to some *really* old Brits because Empire was before my time, even.
Of course the Brits didn't always do good. All countries make stupid, horrible, deliberate, "insert word here" muck-ups. Even America :-p

Meh!! Yang you can't say that because you've never lived in Britain so you don't really know what it's like. Same as I don't know what it's like to live in America. The bits I've seen were fun because I was on holiday but I bet the daily reality is far different. There's good bits about Britain. Give me about three weeks and I'll think of an example.

Not had a bad day, Sir, although got soaked whilst walking the dogs as Summer seems to have passed us by this year :-( You're right there are definitely some "interesting" people to be found hereabouts ..... well, there's me at least.
