I don't want to make a thread for reasons, so I'll leave this here:
Although I hope all of you neverdogooders hug your mom tomorrow for putting up with all your shit (literally and figuratively - particularly if you were a poocasso), I just want to say that my take on Mother's Day is that it is more to celebrate the kids.
Sure, go ham it up for your mom tomorrow, but just know that you, as the child, are the reason for any celebration ritual. At least, I hope so. Maybe it is because it is my first Mother's Day as a mom, but Mother's Day reminds me of how lucky I am to have such an amazing person in my life when I am flawed and undeserving.
And I swear I'm not going to let her know all the pain I have known
