I don't think I have ever cooked cabbage for my boys :O nor have I cooked brussel sprouts. But I make them eat spinch or silver beet several plus times a week :O

They love corned beef with mashed potaotes and steamed vegies. But I am not sure how much goodness is in corned beef? I believe it to be quite a salty meat, so I don't cook it often.

I might buy some cabbage this week and give it to them as a side vegetable - it will be interesting to see if they like it.

Cabbage by itself is a pretty boring vegetable. I like to pickle it with garlic and peppers, but last week I tried using habaneros and burned the shit out of my knuckles in the process of kneading it (to remove excess water). Brussel sprouts on the other hand are easy to cook. Just slice em in half and fry until crispy, turning once, or toss in olive oil and roast in the oven.

Blasphemy! Cabbage is the ultimate in deliciousness!

Boiled with melted butter, fried with noodles, or in colcannon, cabbage is easily prepared and very tasty.

Besides, saying bad things about cabbage offends Brassica Prime. ;)

Guess what I brought cabbage today - i will saute it with a little butter and salt and pepper - but I dont' think cabbage goes with pork chops - oh well, there will be potato, pumpkin, broccol, carrots and parsnips to go with it. I wonder if my boys will noticed there will be no dark green leafy veges ^_^
If fat means flavour then I'm ******* delicious!
