But wouldn't you be better served in learning tactics by doing it yourself? I was playing TLOZ A Link To The Past last night and was reading guides for I completed in case I missed anything.
One of the main tactics for the Dark Palace monsters that mimic your movements, but in reverse was to shoot an arrow and walk in a direction so they are hit by it. Was less effective than a method I found where you charge up a spin attack and hold it while facing the direction you want the monster to face. The spin attack prevents Link from changing direction, so the monster is the only one changing direction. Then you just shoot it in the back with arrows without a chance to miss or get hit by its fireball attack.
