The hardest game for me to put down would still be Runescape. 12 years since I started and still struggling to 'quit'.

Other games for me would be the Battlefield series, and GTA V. Those two are easier to take large breaks from though since they aren't so much.

I've also tried playing Guild Wars 2 but that's more along the lines of being hard to pick back up again after the odd weekend playing it.

After having put almost 300 hours in to it with many more to come, To platformer fans I can't recommend A Hat In Time enough for around 20-30 pound, 30-40 total with the DLC on Steam with a ton of Mods which are like free DLC effectively, you have a bargain of a game.
