I get indigestion if I eat anything within 2 - 3 hours of going to bed.
I'm the same but after 6pm. I goto bed around 9-10pm.
With having a hiatus hernia I have to watch what I eat or the indigestion keeps me up all night. I then have to take Peptac liquid which is a cheaper version of Gaviscon. It works.
I did how ever try some Dark Chocolate last few nights just to try out. Not a lot though but 2-3 ozs. I can't say I found sleeping any different. I think it must be long term thing really and your body gets used to it. I don't know. It's early days yet.
I do how ever have lettuce in my fridge so I'll try that next. Just too see.
I don't usually have any sleep issues maybe 1-2 nights per month at most I have problems. So see how it all goes.
I just have to watch what I eat when I eat it or the indigestion will have me up all night.
