I've read through Jesse's posts, there's been no bashing, only criticizing (no, they're not the same thing). You've also given us no real reason to accept these opinions of yours as you haven't adequately explained why these anime are good for you (no, "They're cheap and have been with me forever" isn't an adequate explanation) nor disproven our theory (though it's practically a law at this point) that these anime rot the brains of the viewers (aka spread cancer).

In short, you've given your opinion no leg to stand on. How are we supposed to accept an opinion like that?

and what you don't seem to realize is i don't care what you think... i'm not a shonen fan/fanboy. i don't just like 'the big 3'. i read all kinds of manga. so don't go judging a book by its cover. i bought shonen jump because i didn't feel like spending 3 dollars more on the actual volumes. and just so you know, every other manga/anime you've mentioned or anyone else has mentioned for that matter, i've heard of or read/watched. so don't go putting me in some group and saying i know nothing of what you're talking about. did i come here saying 'naruto rulez! one peice 4 eva!!' no i didn't, so drop it.

Unfortunately, it seems you are one of these delusional fans who is completely set in his ways. Seriously, it's like you read one of his posts and your eyes glaze over because he doesn't think One Piece or Bleach is good. This has got to be one of the worst cases of willful ignorance I've ever seen. You're like a ditch digger who only digs with his hands even though there's a perfectly good shovel next to him. All he's ever known how to do is dig with his hands, so he doesn't try using the shovel because he's content with his current situation. You grew up reading shonen and now your mind has been irreparably damaged.

If you want to turn this verbal pummeling into an actual discussion, you should probably start explaining why you like certain shows instead of hand-waving away the criticism.

first of all, it's never alright to just go and call someone ********, seeing as i do have a disorder. second, i didn't come here to start some stupid war with you 'non-mainstream' manga/anime lovers. i came here, posted what i liked, and left. i come back and find i'm being criticized for what i read.

Look kid, if you don't like what we say, don't come here (hell, you probably shouldn't even be using internet forums in that case, seeing as this isn't anywhere near the worst you'll encounter). You're obviously alone in this thread, you're the only one arguing against us, so you should be the one to drop it. It's not good for anyone to fight a battle that's impossible to win, even the most ridiculous shounen should be able to tell you that.
