My favorite anime, which I will heartily recommend to anyone who is looking for something to watch:

One Piece - love this one so much...Zoro ftw!

Fairy Tail - we're getting more episodes this April! Fairy Tail shall live again!

Naruto: Shippuuden - much darker and complex, a little filler-y, but when it gets to the manga parts, it's really good, much better than the original Naruto.

Bleach - this is a classic. Haven't read the manga since the show stopped, but I loved the show.

And, of course, the one that probably everybody has watched at some point (whether they know it or not):

Dragonball and Dragonball Z - the enjoyment level of these is over 9000!

P.S. One Piece is still better than Dragonball Z, imo ;)
I can cut through steel. How much of a chance do you really think you have? Think carefully...

I am currently watching stuff that I put on my watch later list a long time ago. I have been learning Japanese, since I don't like looking at romanization of the language. I would like the runescape forums to support japanese text so I can type in it, but I imagine it would take too much away from other things.

Unfortunately, RSOF is still stuck with only the ASCII characters. I do also hope it will support the industry-standard Unicode characters one day. We need that update, for now - anime fans like us can use romanized japanese terms/names

Just finished watching Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu. It was a decent comedy/romance anime. I unfortunately had high expectations for it, and was disappointed at how predictable the anime was. Nevertheless, it still had its good moments.

Pros:

1. It was pretty funny at times.

2. The art was decent at first, but it got better as the show went on.

Cons:

1. As I said, the story was predictable. There was little if anything that surprised me.

2. The problems in the main couple's relationship were solved way too easily. More often than not, a problem presented in an episode was solved in the next episode or even in the same episode.

Overall, I'd give this anime a 7/10.

You do know that these are probably the most mainstream anime out there?
Status: "Retired" From RuneScape. May come back to get 99 Slayer in 1 or 2 years.

Just like real life, try to find the anime that fits your requirement. Do not be satisfied with just the mainstream anime. Animes have very huge selection of genres to choose from. Find your niche anime, and you will enjoy watching in no time.

Here is a bit of variety here, I recommend one of these... Depending on your age skip the last one, not what I would call a family show.

Recently started one called The Legend of Legendary Heroes. (Ignore the english title) Was a random found on netflix and it's pretty good, imo. Only a few episodes in so I'm not quite certain about where it's going.

Elfen Lied, probably close to one of my favorites... haven't had a chance to read the manga.. Still waiting on that as I hear the end is extended a bit.

As far as other go, still fond of FLCL and The Last Exile

Not quite sure I should post the title, but one of my favorites is Sekirei, as far as anime's go I realise most have some nudity but, yeah, not the most kid friendly either, but one of my favorites.
