And 2014 is already going to be the best year in anime.

Don't put words in my mouth. SAO was a mess of a plot that made Gundam SEED Destiny look coherent. At least they both had good soundtracks.

The magnificent Space Dandy and abysmal Sword Art Online II cancel each other out. This looks like it will be an average year.

SEED Destiny... ugh. I know a lot of people like to hate on SEED in general, but I thought it wasn't that bad. Destiny on the other hand was a... I don't want to say a complete trainwreck, but Shinn made it worse than it actually was. He's easily one of the worst protagonists in anime.

Everyone's talking about SAO like it's the series to watch and I haven't even seen one episode yet.

I'm pretty sure I have every episode recorded but there are just so many other series that are a higher priority on my anime watchlist.

Anyone else have an anime watchlist or is that just me?

I've got a personal "to-watch" list in the form of a document, which has too many series and such to mention.

As for Sword Art Online, if I were to watch it, it would be after many many other series of anime. Even the lure of a trap or traps isn't enough for me.

Has anyone else got any favourite manga of theirs that they wish were released in anime form? Personally, for me, my favourite one is one called Prunus Girl.

I used to kinda. I just keep a mental note of a few series now. I've already watched everything that's a "must watch" and just about everything that's even remotely popular. Now I generally sift through MyAnimeList's database and watch whatever catches my eye.

SAO would be around #700 in my anime rankings. It's one of the better 4/10s.
