Is it just me or does anyone else find the voices and voice acting in that C3-bu show to be grating on the brain. Seriously, never heard anyone call 'Hit' in such a way, especially since its usually preceded by something akin to 'ow'.

I know the brunette-haired girl with the voice actor who hasn't had an anime VA role yet was awful. God, she kept talking in that same tone of voice the entire time, it was like someone rubbing sandpaper on glass right next to my ear. She had to be reading off a script she'd seen for the first time, it was just so evident in her voice.

Gonna keep a running list of the series I've seen here
Bleach (all eng dubs)
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood
One Piece (All up to current Toonami ep)
Eureka 7
Casshen Sins
Hellsing (Haven't watched Ultimate, though)
Deadman Wonderland
Claymore
Blood +
Blood-C
Working on Black Lagoon and Elfen Lied ATM and watching Soul Eater and Naruto Uncut as they come on Toonami (I know they're out already online, but one of my friends and I stay up to watch Toon every Sat, so I'm trying not to spoil 'em for myself
).
BTW- As you may have noticed, I'm a bit of a violence nut
Any recommendations in that vein? (Preferably dubbed, not subbed)
Glad to see I'm not the only one who thought so. Kinda of worrying when you've heard so many Japanese people talk for so long that you can tell when voice acting is shoddy, but I guess that throw's the old 'Japanese voice actors are just as bad as English ones, you just cant tell cause your not Japanese' pro-dub argument out the window.
