The definition may vary depending on the specific VN, I have no experience with FS/N UBW or Type Moon in general, so I cant say for sure but:

Good ending = Successful finish of a route (the credits will roll)
Bad end = Failed to finish a route or to enter a route (no credits will roll, you'll just get kicked back to the menu screen)
True route = A 'good ending' which is typically only possible to reach after other routes have been completed. in other cases, its the ending with the best possible result which is typically harder to get(a 'harem' ending, an ending were nobody died etc)

True ending would be the one your after overall, but it may not be available at the start of the game, and the point of a VN is really to read ALL the endings, good and bad.

Any1 also mad about how the last Gantz chapter? So much stuff left unexplained...and it was one of my top mangas...why Oku would drag the plot then rush an ending like this, idk. I just hope there's a rewrap of some sort :( If any1 feels the same plz respond :)
