Well the plot certainly is interesting, but the only problem I have with this show is that it lacks a bit of common sense. Afterall if you would be in this situation, then the most obvious thing you would do is to dump the clotches somewhere (In the river for example). Even if that creepy girl would say that you stole the clotches, none would believe her since she aint that popular afterall. But despite that, it certainly is an interesting plot to follow.

By the way, I am quite suprised that no one mentioned Suisei no Gargantia in here. Am I the only fanboy here, that thinks that this is the best show of the season?

Well, I dunno about best show of the season, but its certainly something I'm watching every week. It's pleasant and introspective enough for me to enjoy it, but its sitting in that valley of plot content were its not got enough for me to become invested, but to much for me to mindlessly enjoy it, hence the reason I cant give it such a lofty award.

I'd agree that Gargantia is the best this season. My ratings as follows for airing shows. Copy pasted from my MAL:

Wow Your Rating are not Accurate enough but you are entitled to your opinion.
My guess it is to early to Rate the Anime.
The why I Rate Anime is not About the Action nor the Animation itself. Its about the The Story It Gives Out To the Viewers. That what Grabs my attention to Anime.

For Example
Devil Survivor 2 the animation, why did you give it a 2/10. I think the story line is amazing and I can relate to the character

Another Example
Shingeki no Kyojin is another example. Most viewers like Shingeki no Kyojin for the Action And Blood Gore but for me that's secondary. The storyline is amazing and the way they show there emotion through every episode is amazing. Its a what would you have done in those kinds of situation anime. Like will you accept the fact that titans are strong and we humans cant do nothing about it or will you rebel and join the Military to Fight of those Titan and take back the land which the titans have took over.

With anime you have to put yourself in the character position. What would you have done. Can you really Blame them for what they have did or didn't do.

I'm pretty sure my ratings are accurate, based off my personal enjoyment.

Devil Survivor 2 was absolutely horrible. I stomached about 2 and a half episodes before I dropped it. Mediocre start, and summoning demons from your phone? Stupid. Mary Sue protagonist with useless annoying friends. Fujoshi pandering garbage.

We've already discussed SnK a few pages back somewhere. Cliche character personalities. Eren is your standard obnoxious shounen protagonist. Mikasa is just another Rei clone. It would be a lot better if Eren didn't all the sudden get hax powers and they actually had to use intelligent battle strategy to fight off the titans. Everytime I hear somebody say "OMGZZ LIKE ATTACK ON TITAN IS SO EPIC IT'S SOOOOOO GOOD BEST ANIME EVER 15/10" just makes me hate it even more.

i quite enjoyed mars of destruction though. especially the way that the very first girl was killed, found great enjoyment from those 2 seconds. and also there thrilling fight scenes. havn't watched the others yet though because my internet connection is being a b---- at present

^ also i don't see why you rated photo kano so highly, I DEMAND AN EXPLANATiON!

I don't really get why Photokano is so poorly rated. It's the exact same thing as Amagami, which people eat up.

Photokano is just a less developed version since they're going through one girls route every episode (excluding Haruka since she got 2 episodes) opposed to Amagami's 4 episode arcs. I like the omnibus format since we get to see the good end for all girls.

Photokano doesn't feel that rushed though either. I think they're doing a good job condensing each girls story into one episode. It's enjoyable and keeps me thoroughly entertained, hence a 6/10.

I DO agree with you Eren Is a another Shounen Protagonist And Mikasa is your typical Rei Clone. I Also Agree with you that it would have been better if Eren didn't get titan powers, I wanted to see human vs titans not Titan Vs titan. but it is still human vs titan. And trust me people who say ATTACK ON TITAN IS SO EPIC IT'S SOOOOOO GOOD BEST ANIME EVER 15/10 and trust me are just little kids who don't understand the meaning of the story and just like it for the OST and The Blood-Gore Action.

But I don't care about those things, Ive taken sociology and Psychology during my first year in college and with those I could understand the anime more Clearly. With every episode of the Attack On titan It shows Psychological Issues between there comrades and Friends. That's what I like, it teaches you something. It is the same with other anime. Like Aku no Hana, why does sieki forgive him or why does nakamura want kasuga to be deviant so Badly.

Hey Sb, nice to see you here. :)
Gargantia was one of my favorites at the start of the season, but unfortunately we got way too many filler episodes. Episode 9 finally brought back the story element.

My current ranking of this season:
9/10
: Chihayafuru 2, Attack on Titan, Space Brothers
8/10
: Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet
7/10
: Nyarko-san: Another Crawling Chaos W, The Devil is a Part-Timer
6/10
: Devil Survivor 2, Valvrave the Liberator, Muromi-san on the Shore

I dropped the rest of the shows after watching one or more episodes. I plan to watch A Certain Scientific Railgun * , but I'm still working my way through the first season.
