Series' that need a second season? I would say Sword Art Online is a must, and I would love to see another Black Butler season. Tsubasa would be.. Interesting.
Don't get me wrong, I didn't hate Hidan no Aria's adaptation (especially the "I didn't get pregnant!" part) but it could've been so much better if they had gone for a full season as opposed to the 12 ep+ova it ended up with.
@Earn
I would also like to see a second season of IS. They never really introduced a larger plot than "Oblivious guy is the only male that pilots a mech. He now attends an all girl school, cue harem problems and an occasional mech fight". I haven't read the light novels, but there had to be a larger plot that they didn't hit on.
Well I personally think that ''The Legend of the Legendary Heroes'' deserves a better conclusion that it currently has. The show was really promising despite the odd title, but the ending of it was an absolute drawback. It gave me the impression that the company suddenly ran out of money and had to quickly make something out of it.
And furthermore (well this isnt actually a second season) it would also be sweet if the same staff of Fate/Zero would make the Fate Heaven's Feel arc, in fact I wouldnt mind if they also made a remake of Fate Stay/night while they are at it
Well, technically that is a 'full season. Even though single cours series are the standard in this day and age, I get the impression that this series was one they weren't sure they wanted to gamble to much production money on. The author basically begged people to buy more DVD's and Blurays via Twitter, so I guess it was justified.
@Ars Kicka
The OVA's didn't finish the story. They continue it, but for some reason they skip out an entire arc which is relevant to the overall plot and just left it sit without actually reaching the ending.
I've gotten bored and have started watching anime recently...I've been introduced to it by Adult Swim and Ani-Mondays on Sci-Fi so prior to now I've only been watching dubbed shows I've seen on late night TV.
This brings me to Fooly Cooly. I watched all 6 episodes and am wondering why people are so enamored with that show. It was designed to be obtuse and bizarre and had a couple plot points I need to revisit (did I understand that scene? kind of thing). Do people actually like the character of Haruko? She was just totally enigmatic and felt more like a minor character who dominated every scene she appeared in. I'm not quite sure what her appeal is to the fanbase.
That being said, I am undaunted and have moved on to Serial Experiments Lain.

@Earnshaw30, I was going to do the same for that reason. But when they wanted me to make an account, it's mandatory to have a credit card number before they let you make it. :'( So now I'm just using a *legal* site I found and am watching them there. Just started to download things, I much like it.
