That's good to hear. I definitely thought it was on the better end of the spectrum for the slice of life/romance genre.
You mentioned above that you haven't seen Death Note yet, I would consider checking that out. I'm not too fond of all the mainstream anime, but it's definitely something every anime fan should see.
