Reviews for all the new season stuff that I have watched so far.
GOOD
Little Busters
I'm sure that absolutely none of you will be surprised that this one is on my list for good stuff, and I will confess that this is a fairly biased entry based as much on what I know is going to happen as what has actually occurred so far, because I have more than a few nitpicks about the show so far, including but not limited to:
-The animation is a bit on the cheap side. Lots of scenes are just a still with the mouth flapping, and the actual amount of animation is limited.
-Being beaten over the head with the soundtrack. Now, Maeda is a great composer and I love his work, but its really kind of annoying when there's BGM lifted straight out of the game in more or less every scene, especially when, unlike the game, the volume dosent dim when people are talking.
-Its a little TO much like the game. Weird complaint huh, and I know that much of this will go over you guys heads since you haven't played the game at all, but it kinda bugged me that the show is a little to faithful to the game, to the point that all the SFX, visual effects and things like the 'nickname changed' pop-up are straight from the game.
-Kyousuke looks weird and Masato looks to thin...
Other than that though, I'm really pleased with the way that this one has panned out so far. The voice changes are all really suitable to the characters (Ask me again when Mio is in the show for more than 3 seconds though), the animation is nice despite its faults, JC is sticking to the story really well, and Komari's (from the end) redesign is adorable. Also really like the retooled version of the games opening (in total, there's now 8 versions of that song lol), and the redone version of Alicemagic for the ending isn't bad either (though I still like the original more)

Shin Sekai Yori
Initially this one wasn't even on my radar as far as 'things that look interesting' go, but this one shot up pretty high on my 'watch immediately every week' list, because thus far is has been very engaging and presented itself as every good mystery should, providing only as much information as the viewer needs to now and, most importantly, making them actually want to know more.

Chuunibyou demo koi ga ****** + Lite
Even though it's only aired one full episode and two of its 'lite' shorts, I can already tell that this is going to be one of those anime that I can enjoy greatly not just because I find it funny or like the characters, but because I can really get behind the theme of the show because it speaks to me on a personal level. Especially that last scene when Rikka's trying to convince the MC not to chuck his stuff away, I felt a very strong resonance in her words in that scene (and, to a lesser extent when she thrust her palm at the train door and it opened, I really need to stop doing that in public).
Technical detail wise....well, its KyoAni, need I really say more? I know I've said this several times before, but I really wish they would fire their character designer because I am REALLY getting sick of all the character designs looking so close to K-On (in some ways, I'm kinda relieved they didn't do LB...) but other than that their usual reputation of excellence is holding up.

MEH
K
This show occupies that space between the relative safety of my 'I like this' side of the fence and a sheer drop to certain death, and depending on how the next episode performs will determine whether I pull it to safety or shove it over the edge.
The first 15 minutes had my hand hovering over the mouse ready to turn it off, because there's nothing I hate more than when a show says 'were not ready to actually tell you why your watching this yet, so here's action sequence instead'.
The constant blue and green overtones on everything and the crazy camera angles were really not helping matters either, because it was setting itself up to be all flair and no substance. The only really redeeming part of the first 15 was when the Scepter 4 guys showed up, mostly because I love sequences with riot police and I seriously want one of those trenchcoats (I've got my character for next Supanova, wonder how many people would mistake me for someone from FMA lol).
After that, when the show got to the actual PLOT it was a lot better at keeping my interest and, given the way it ended on a cliffhanger, has actually made me want to come back and watch more. Depending on how much actual substance it proves to have, I might keep it.

TRASH
BTOOOM
Ok, first of all, can I just get a personal rant out of the way and say that BTOOOM seems like a really crappy game lol, and this is ocming from someone who could only be described as a grendier when it comes to FPS's. Anyway, as for the show itself well...I didnt think it was exactly bad per say but it wasnt really all that great either and I'm having a hard time trying to put my finger on exactly why it is that I dont like it. The logical falacies and the outright stupidity of the MC have a lot to do with it, like the fact that a bomb can explode in his face with absolut** no blast pressure, or that it took him half an episode to figure out that he was using time bombs when that was immediatly obvious to everyone else watching the show (and should have been to him, he's supposed to be #10 in the word at this game right?).
Its pretty obvious were its going, that the #2 who challenged him is the one that brought him to the island and whatnot (never mind the fact that he accepted the challenge and then decided to go shopping...) but so far the series made no attempt to explore that and establish the plot and just chucked some action in your face to get the ball rolling. Normally I get annoyed with that (as with K) but this series isnt smart enough to acheive even that, so its managing to be dumb and commit the cardinal first episode failure at the same time.
I'll give it one, ONE, more episode to prove that its soemthing more than Gantz without the gratuitous nudity.

Busou Shinki
Take any 'girls doing stuff' show, combine with mecha designs from Infinite stratos and merge that with the combat sequences from Angelic Layer and you get this show, which occupies the 'turn off your brain' part of the lineup this season. The action sequences are pretty cool and well animated, but they make up so little of the show (and dont seem to be terribly important to the overall plot), but tthus far they have made up to little of thr actual screening time to be worth sticking around for. The obvious thrust of this show is 'watch these cute girls do stuff and feel good' but that's hard when I keep getting distracted by the doll joint s that make them look liek they have dislocated shoulders... calling it now, doll joint fetish will be the 'in' thing as far as obscure fetishes go in the near future when they eventually get tired of eyepatches (which seems to have been the thing for the last few years. God I hope im wrong about this, I like the eyepatch thing lol).

Hayate no Gotoku: Cant take my eyes of you
Ok, so this is FACE the third series of Hayate and FACE is very much standard fare for the FACE series so far. The first seasons could be FACE a little dull at times but were usually FACE pretty fun and FACE...AH DAMMIT, I CANT IGNORE IT ANYMORE, WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THEIR FACES!!! *dramatic point*. No, seriously, I cant even pay attention to what going on because of the weird character designs, its like all of the facial features are squashed into the bottom third of their head and the rest is space for rent. Sorry, I just cant do this right now, dropped.

^ I agree with nearly everything you said. Except I was very hyped for Shinsekai yori from the start and it meets my expectations so far.
The reason I thought K was just OK (heh) was mainly because the MC behaves like a raging hom- ...yeah you get it. The end of the episode had me very interested though.
Now I wouldn't say BTOOOM! was "TRASH," though like you said the whole "not knowing how to use bombs" thing was pretty stupid. It was still pretty entertaining though. I think it's on the same level as SAO.
Can't really comment on Hayate no Gotoku because I've never seen the previous ones. Lucky me, I guess? I thought it was decent though.
I've also watched everything else that has aired except for that Onii-chan one since they use those streaks of light to censor stuff. I'll just wait for the BD so I can get the full experience.
Code:Breaker - pretty meh
Girls und Panzer - not too good, similar level of enjoyment as Busou Shinki
JoJo's Bizarre Adventure - really good first episode
Kamisama Hajimema***ta - average, seems fun
Magi - decent first episode, has potential
Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo - good, I really like the characters
Sukitte Ii na yo. - fantastic, romance done correctly (so far). I just hope they don't load it up with BS later on but I'm sure they will since it's a shoujo.
Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun - pretty much the same as above ^ but more lighthearted
Zetsuen no Tempest - seemed like fujoshi pandering trash but was quite good, has potential
Just finished downloading the first episode of Jormungand season 2. I'll watch it tomorrow since I'm pretty tired and about to go to sleep.
