...And yet, ironically enough, School Days is far more of a case study into real relationships than any other harem anime has ever actually achieved. Leaving aside the crazy antics and the unrealistic way in which Makoto becomes a chick magnet, when you focus on the main triangle relationship you can see how realistic it actually comes across with what it has to say regarding faith, indecisiveness and the need to give and take in a relationship.
Yes, they do look like complete ***** (Jagex's britishness is showing...) with the way this whole thing panned out, but when you think that your looking from the outside in to a very real situation, it really makes you think...
