My favorites are the Kingdom Hearts and Final Fantasy series. I´ve got Final Fantasy V to XIII, and my favs are VII and X. Not played them all tho.
Other favorites are Persona 3 and 4, Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, Dragon Quest and more.
I´ve played a bit of TWEWY and I love the style, ´cool´ urban tokyo and the music. The anime Durarara!! is also like that.
Other than that I have a fine collection, but I hardly play games these days so I haven´t played them all....Xenoblade is also one of them.
Lol if you happen to have played Dragon Quest check out Gintama episode 167 - 170 or HxH's Greed Island OVAs :P And I don´t know if you´ve played Final Fantasy IX. But the recent Hunter x Hunter manga chapters seem to be inspired by it. The outer continent part, to be precise. That´s because, well, Yoshihiro Togashi is a nolife gamer...^^

Okay, so here's a funny story. My friend one time rented a game called "Neptunia" and convinced me to go to his to place to play it. I should've known better, since I found out what it was rated, but still I played through it a little. Possibly the worst JRPG game I've ever played. It was just so repetent, really boring after a while. Now, you'd think the high amount of fan service would make it enjoyable. Nope. Not even the fan service was any good. (Compared to what I've seen.) The only good thing I could find in the game was the occasional clever joke.

Katanagatari.
A million stories tying together hundreds upon thousands of people and the tens of thousands of dreams they each possess encompassing thousands of miles of land, hundreds of years, all revolving around twelve legendary swords created by one man.
I do not recommend that you watch the series, I simply know that you should.
