Yes, really. No doubt the April fools run was to determine viewership and see whether it would be worth it. I heard that they got a very high viewership at the time. Almost wish I still had cable now, but chances are It probably wont make it over here any time soon...
Subject of, i got a question. What was the airing time and content of Toonami in the US, because in all of the recent discussions following the April Fools airing I see alot of mentions of Adult Swim as well, which is weird because here Adult Swim was a separate late night block, and Toonami aired from 3:30pm - 6:00pm as an afternoon block...

^ if I remember correctly
it started out as an after school block then over time it became a primetime block
starts at around 7 or 8 pm and ends at 11pm
it mainly shows anime but there's some american animation in it as well, it was mainly a 90s thing which most of us experienced
some shows aired:
*gundam
*naruto
*one piece
*samurai x
*outlaw star
*pokemon
god I love Animaniacs (even though this is irrelevant :P ) "All men are jealous and stupid, and all women are stupid to be happy about it, idiots are everywhere you look…"

Did you guys here about the guy in Sweden who got arrested for his manga because the authorities viewed it as "child ****"?

A Swedish man is fighting a heavy fine for possession of child ***********, after police seized 51 drawings from his collection of Japanese manga cartoons.
Simon Lundström, 39, who translates the comics for a living, appeared in Sweden’s Supreme Court today on the first day of his attempt to overturn a ruling last year when 39 of the 51 cartoons seized from his apartment were deemed as child ***********.
Japan’s manga cartoons, which are intended for adults, frequently feature violent and explicit ***, in which innocent young girls falling prey to demonic men.
Mr Lundström was found guilty of possessing child *********** in 2010, and lost his first appeal against the ruling last year.
He said that he was considering moving to Japan if the Supreme Court does not overturn the sentence.
'I would feel completely finished with Sweden. It feels so incredibly strange that I should be regarded as a criminal for having looked at some imaginary drawings.'
Chief prosecutor in the case, Hedvig Trost said: 'Children should never be depicted in a ****** context, regardless of whether it is in a photograph or a drawing.
On Tuesday, Björn Sellström, the head of the Swedish Police’s child *********** task force, warned that such cases risked diverting police from protecting real children from ***********.
'I have doubts about how a conviction will benefit those children who are victims of real abuse,' he wrote in Sweden's Dagens Nyheter newspaper.
'If the judgment stands, the risk is that the number of cases involving child *********** offences will increase.
'In turn will mean longer processing times for those cases involving photographs and films of child abuse in real situations.'

Lololololololicon. None of it is real, no harm done imo, you can't hurt fantasies. Should he be embarrassed? Hell yeah. Should he be a registered sx offender and have the rest of his life ruined over having imaginary "friends"? Nope.
